Pause4Pawz is based in Maui Hawaii and founded by people who cherish and love their pets. We are lifelong pet owners who love and care for our dogs like members of the family. Pause4Pawz is based in Maui Hawaii and founded by people who cherish and love their pets. We are lifelong pet owners who love and care for our dogs like members of the family. Throughout our life travels (military and civilian) we have noticed a need to increase awareness of the dangers of paw injuries caused by hot walking surfaces. Some studies show that on 85 degree days surface walking temperatures can reach over 135 degrees (AKC.org). Higher temperatures can cause paw burns within seconds. Our goal is to increase awareness through partnerships with local shelters and contributions from fellow pet owners.
